Just happened on your blog today. So exciting that you are travelling!!! We made the same trip in July/Aug with CAFAC to pick up our (then 7 month old)daughter - Makeda.
Enjoy every moment - even the bleary eyed ones :) Oh and just a tip - journal if you can - Stan and I did a bit and I wish we had done more - at the time you think you will remember every moment later there are some very precious clear memories but a lot of it is a blur. It is special to read how you were feeling at certain moments, what those first days together were like and general impressions of Ethiopia.
Oh I am so excited for you!

Hello there,

My husband and I are considering adding to our family though Ethiopian adoption, and I have been looking at blogs of other Canadians to see what the process looks like. Even though I don't know you at all, I am anxiously awaiting a post to hear how your journey went! Hope all is well with your new addition!

Hi Leah & Jeremy,
I was just introduced to your blog by Shauna K. Congrats on your travels to your little one! How very very exciting!!!
My husband and I live in Colwood. I understand you live close to us. We too are adopting from Ethiopia, our daughter is 10 months old and still there. We've got 3-4 more months to wait.

I realize this is a very busy time in your lives but once you are home and settled if you'd like to email me you can check out our blog or ask Shauna for my email.

Again, sorry for the bad timing, but I was too excited about having another family so close to wait!
